The Easton Festival was initiated in 2002 in order to
celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
II and also to raise funds for various groups within this small
but active village, and in 2003 the neighbouring village of
Letheringham was invited to join in the organisation and to
receive funding. The Festival is going from strength to
strength, both financially and on the day, confirming its
popularity as an event in the annual calendar.

In the following years thousands of visitors enjoyed an exciting
and exhilarating day at Easton Farm Park. they have seen an
aerobatic display, medieval jousting, kite flying, motorcycle
stunts, taken a helicopter ride, bought homemade cakes,
watched numerous displays and tried their hand at archery. .
There were games, sideshows, trade stands, an art exhibition
and a classic car rally. Children could have their faces
painted, watch Punch & Judy as well as enjoy the usual
attractions of the Farm Park.

In the region of £45,000 has been raised for distribution to
local charities to help our rural community continue to offer
sport, education and much more to its residents. In addition
15 national charities were given a free stand space to raise
their own funds.

Any group within the villages of Easton and Letheringham is
able to apply for funding for a specific project. Distribution of
funds will be strictly according to the rules of the Funding
Committee.
